                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 5800
                   CASSANDRA SMITH ROAD, BEING OFF THE SOUTHEAST
                   LINE OF CASSANDRA SMITH ROAD SOUTHWEST OF
                   HIXSON PIKE, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-T/Z
                   RESIDENTIAL TOWNHOUSE/ZERO LOT LINE ZONE,
                   SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 5800 Cassandra Smith
                Road, being off the southeast line of Cassandra
                Smith Road southwest of Hixson Pike.  An unplatted
                tract, being the properties described in deed book
                2435, page 216, ROHC, and deed book 3804, page 614,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 101-31.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to R-T/Z Residential Townhouse/Zero 
Lot
         Line Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Incorporation with the site plan and conditions of 
the
                   surrounding R-T/Z of Case No. 1995-033.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
